Jane Larsen

Jane Larsen

Jane and her husband Scott, are in full time Christian camping where Scott is the Executive Director. This has been the perfect ‘fit’ as it has allowed Jane to use her experience and gifts in children’s ministry while serving alongside her husband.

Jane says that Christian camping is like getting to do Sunday School – all week long!! Prior to Christian camping, Jane was the Director of Children’s Ministries at a large church in central Iowa, overseeing a lay staff of over 200 who ministered to more than 500 children weekly. Jane received a BS in Christian Education & Youth Ministry from Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her education wasn’t complete until her first experience attending The Children’s Pastors Conference. Jane has taught Children’s Ministry Seminars around the country and is a speaker at camps, retreats, and women’s ministry events. Jane has the joy of being home with their three children, Alex, Blake, and Emma Grace. Note: Jane invites you to visit the camp’s website: www.twinlakescc.com.

Earl Radford

Earl Radford

As the Associate Children’s Pastor at Overlake, I enjoy challenging young people to serve the Lord as well as motivating parents and volunteers to have an impact on the lives of children.

I'm a 1983 graduate of Berean University in Missouri and have since had the privilege of serving in some of the largest churches on the west coast, like Life Center in Tacoma, Peoples Church of Fresno and Bayside Church in Granite Bay, CA.

During those years, my responsibilities have included: training more than 250 fifth and sixth graders in a dynamic soul winning program called Evangelism Explosion for Children; starting two Christian Day Care Centers called Peoples Child Care Center; and creating KIDS INC., a year round school-age enrichment ministry.

God has also used me to help build a sports and recreation ministry called T.E.A.M. that reaches over 1,000 children. I've also worked alongside church and community members to construct three large children’s facilities and have been blessed to have a bunch of articles published in local/national magazines for children and parents.

I live in Snohomish with my wife, Jan and our teenage son, Luke. Jan teaches junior high math and history at Heritage Christian School in Arlington. She is a calibrated teacher and has her master degree from Sacramento State University in Special Education. In my spare time I love to golf, wakeboard and ride my Harley.

I have spent eight years in children’s ministry and have gone to many conferences, but this is the first one that I went away from with a wealth of information. This conference helped me open my eyes to what I could do or do better to improve the quality of care that I provide. -Children’s Ministry Worker, Alaska
