Just a reminder that you should be contacting last year's VBS attendees to let them know about this summer's kids' crusade or VBS. Use a postcard and do a mailout. If you use a letter be sure to mention that "You were with us last year for Vacation Bible School and we wanted to invite you and your family back again for this year's fantastic event." If you don't mention that they were there before some parents will call the church and wonder why you are sending things to their child. You may also be able to get some at home phone volunteers to call last year's attendees 3 to 7 days before the event. Many volunteers can't come in but are willing to work from home.
