Grace Community Bible Church (GCBC) is seeking a dynamic, creative Children’s Ministry Director to lead a team of dedicated volunteers in sharing God’s love with children and their parents from birth through fifth grade. This full-time position includes recruiting, training, and developing leaders and volunteers; selecting an active and effective curriculum; and working with parents to meet the needs of families. The Director of the Children’s Ministry will be accountable to the Senior Pastor, work well with other Team Leaders and Team Members, and will have a deep and growing relationship with Christ.

The Director has the responsibility to guide and develop the Children’s Ministry according to the vision, purpose and ministry of GCBC as established by the Elder Board. This position requires special awareness of the spiritual capacity of children, the ability to relate to children personally, design curriculum, plan children’s ministry special events (in conjunction with the other ministry team calendars) and the ability to recruit and train adult volunteers and leaders to be part of the team.

A competitive salary based on experience and appropriate to the size and budget of GCBC will be included in the offer to hire. This full-time position includes health insurance which covers the employee and his or her family.
