Position:  Associate Children’s Pastor

Responsibilities of an Associate Children’s Pastor

-Daily quiet time with God

-Personal Growth

-Recruit, equip and train volunteers

-Lead staff of Division Leaders and Coordinators

-Teach the Bible creatively and age appropriately

-Counsel children and parents on Salvation and Baptism

-Follow Fellowship of The Woodlands and TCM staff guidelines and policies

-Support Fellowship of The Woodlands and TCM mission, vision and values

-Perform any task…no matter how small…as needed by FOTW to make any event/service a success and enjoyable for children, students and adults.

Expectations of an Associate Children’s Pastor

Be prepared to work weekends, holidays and any other special events over and above regular office hours.

Pastor On Call once a quarter or as needed.

Perform funerals and weddings as needed.

Counsel children and adults with a biblical base as needed.

Attend all Children’s camps and special events such as VBS, Market Street, Blast Off and more…

Do whatever it takes to make this the most exciting and innovative hour of the week for children and their families!
