Celebrations!
Ground hogs, Heart-shaped candy, Presidents, Jim's birthday…and CPC-San Diego. What's the common thread? It's February! I'm not sure any other month holds so many reasons to celebrate. At INCM we are celebrating multiple ways that children's and family ministry leaders can grow in knowledge and skills. The articles in this E-magazine address topics that allow you and your volunteers to more effectively impact kids and their families.
In addition to our excellent conferences and electronic communication tools, INCM also provides parenting seminars and one-day volunteer training. Take a look at your calendar and select a Saturday to host a Start with the Heart (SWTH). The evaluations from this seminar indicate that parents fill more equipped as a result of attending. INCM offers a one-day Children's Ministry Training (CMT) for volunteers and leaders who serve in children's ministry in your church. Most of our host churches invite volunteers from all of the churches in their area. CMT allows you to select 3 different topics from several options. This training day will help you keep the momentum going for your volunteers as they grow in confidence. Scheduling these events at your church in 2009 will give you one more reason to celebrate.
