INCM Insight
San Diego CPC 10
Judy Comstock

February is a month when love is emphasized. One way to express love is through INCM's Global Focus. In 2010, we'll provide resources and training in Uganda, Lebanon, and the Crow Reservation in Montana. Due to the expansive need, Haiti has been added to our plans. Eric Hamp challenged the kids at his church to give to Global Focus. In one month they contributed $1530. I hope you will consider challenging your kids to support these projects. Donate online or bring your gift to the San Diego CPC. Contact eric.hamp@incm.org to learn how you can participate.

Networking is vital as noted in Beth Morrison's article. To help leaders in your area know about your network group, sign up on the INCM Network Directory. Post your meeting info, exchange ideas, and share resources. Join THE NETWORK!.

Our CPC Partners will offer "sweetheart deals" throughout February. Take advantage by registering for the San Diego CPC'10. The March 14-17 San Diego conference will be fabulous! People like Deanna Goscha, who wrote the Starbucks article, will be there teaching innovative breakouts.

A big thank you to all of this month's writers. Cindy Sanders gives us a useful guideline for helping children grow spiritually and Amy Fenton Lee's thoughts on children with special needs is excellent. A lot of love went into the February Insight!

Editorial Correction: the article "The Bible Pure & Simple: The Priority of God's Word in the Classroom" by Mark Smith in the December '09 issue had an incorrect link to Gospel Light. Go to www.gospellight.com to learn more about their available resources. .
