"March Madness" is usually related to basketball, but in Children's Ministry "March Madness" is the time we plan the next meaningful way to help kids grow in their faith. In March, we finalize our plans for celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ with children in our churches next month on Easter Sunday. In March, we prepare to recruit strategic VBS volunteers…volunteers who will end that summer week with a sunburned nose and a joy-filled heart. This month, we start planning for how to transition the upper elementary students into the Youth Department or Student Ministries. The writers for the March E-mag offer ways to manage our busy lives, keep our children safe, minister to pre-teens, and the youngest in our ministry. As you move forward, remember to take care of yourself. Warming up every day with a few minutes in God's Word will make you a winner!
