INCM is thankful to have the governance leadership of our Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for ensuring the mission of INCM is being accomplished through all that we do. The accountability and support they provide to the INCM staff team is driven by a passion to see children’s ministry leaders connected to what they need to shape the future of the Church.

TODD LEIDALL
Board President
Todd is passionate about growing and developing a faith-based organization centered around servant leadership. He’s highly competitive and finds success in having a results-driven mentality. Todd cares about people and relationships, and is passionate about developing structures for training, leadership, and mentoring. He serves as a mentor to fatherless boys for Father’s in the Field. Todd has been married for over 32 years to his high school sweetheart, and they have four married children and three granddaughters. He loves adventure and spending time with his family, which is the greatest adventure.

MELISSA J MACDONALD
Board Vice President
Passionate about the church, Melissa J. MacDonald travels extensively speaking, training, coaching, and consulting. She’s the author of Missing: An Urgent Call for the Church to Rescue Kids. With humor and a unique perspective, Melissa calls the church to be The Church everywhere she goes. She and her husband, Luis, make their home in Iowa. Melissa has been to over 30 countries and seeks out the best ethnic food in every city she visits. melissajmacdonald.com

SCOTT LARSEN
Scott has been married to Jane for as long as he can remember. They have three children and a daughter in law. Children’s ministry has been a mainstay for his family, with Scott serving as a volunteer teacher, game leader, gospel illusionist, and sarcastic puppet operator. He has three decades of faith-based, non-profit management experience. For the past fourteen years, he has had the privilege of leading ministry at Twin Lakes Bible Camp in northwest Iowa. Scott’s education includes a B.A. in Bible and Recreation, and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership, and is a lifelong learner.

KIM BOTTO
For the past several decades Kim has led kids and student ministries at local churches. Kim’s passion is creating safe and fun environments for kids of all backgrounds, energy levels and unique needs to experience God and grow in their faith. Kim serves as Director of Training and Development for a Cincinnati nonprofit, Found Village, supporting youth who have experienced traumatic childhoods, providing them with the relationships and resources needed so they can reach their full potential. Kim and her husband, Mark, live in Kentucky and have 5 kids and 10 grandkids. As adoptive parents they are active in the foster and adoptive community.

ANDY KIRK
Andy and Christie Kirk have three children, and they live on the Gold Coast, Australia. Andy is the Director of Families at Glow Church as well as the National Leader of Children’s Ministry for the ACC (Australian Christian Churches) where he serves 1100 churches. Together they have been innovating and changing the landscape of Children’s Ministry for the last 17 years together. From leading locally in churches, overseeing Multi-site Ministries, and years of Mentoring and Consulting into churches, their experience and knowledge of Kids & Families Ministry is extensive. Both Andy and Christie are passionate about empowering and equipping people to live out all they were created to do by matching people’s potential with God possibilities.

KATHIE PHILLIPS
Kathie Phillips leads the Next Gen team at Central Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Maryland, where she currently resides with her family. She uses her gifts to fuel her passion of seeing children and students develop and grow in a lifelong relationship with Jesus. A writer, speaker and certified INCM coach, she was overjoyed to see her first book published in 2017. She enjoys traveling to the beach as often as she’s able.
